Change....permanent???

One thing that I've heard from most of the ppl is that change is the only permanent thing in this world! Well, its 2 in the morning and God knows wht came into my mind that I was thinkin about CHANGE! Is it really permanent?

A child, too scared of dark, changes to become the very strong guy scared of nothin. But thats USUALLY how we see it to be! Leave that brave guy all alone in a dark place, won't he be scared for a second? well, he pretends to be a strong guy who is not scared of anything!

A heart broken lover, who can't just get out of it, suddenly changes to a guy who gives a damn! Is it really possible? The one person you love and care for so much changes to the one who hates you so much? Well, give him a bottle of beer and then lets see what happens!

A person who has a child like heart, changes to be the so called worldly wise, has he really changed completely? Leave him all alone in the rain witha few children on the street, will he go under a shed to protect himself because its too lame to be still standing on the street or will he forget everythin and play with those children as if he was one of them?

IS it that we change forever and the old 'version' of us just expires?

This question will always rise, atleast for me, because i feel that no matter how much we change, deep inside we're still the same and it takes just a small moment for the 'real' us to come out in the open! We change when we get to learn something from the world, or to be more precise by looking at the cruelities of the world. But at some corners of our hearts we're still the same who get scared, want to be loved, want to be like a child, want to be dumb at times!!!

It doesn't matter what the world makes out of us, it just takes someone whom we consider our own to bring the ones we really are, out in the open and breath, even if thats for a minute.

Changes are just like the masks that we put onto our faces!
We change because of the things that disgust us, but the love of someone special gives us the comfort to finally be a child again and at that time your age doesn't mtter at all.

Yup for me too .. change is permanent.. but at an individual level.. there are few basic attributes which don't change.. that's what makes one person different from one another..
